Creating my version of Alice falling down the rabbit hole, was an absolute fascinating and wonderful experience for me. I felt like I became a version of Alice as I was painting this whimsical and beautiful piece! The most amazing part of this painting had to be the beginning, which was drawing then painting each black and white warped checkered block.  Followed by all the other important characters and elements which brought my painting to life. I actually feel Alice suspended in this checkered void. Its so magical.
